The oil in the “Make Me Safer” box is different from the oil recommended in my car’s handbook – can I still use it?

The 500ml of oil in your "Make Me Safer" box is there to help you out when your car's engine is urgently in need of oil - when the oil warning light comes on.

The fully synthetic SAE 5W-40 can go into any car engine and will stave off the danger of your car's engine seizing up. When you get home - or to a garage - you should top up with the recommended oil as described in your car's handbook.
